About the customer

Since 2009, Qala Həyat Sığorta OJSC has been providing a wide range of life insurance products, prioritizing reliability and customer satisfaction, while contributing to the development of Azerbaijan’s insurance sector.

Prerequisites

The company decided to implement an electronic document management system in order to increase transparency, accelerate document processing, strengthen control over execution discipline, and ensure fast document search. Following the successful implementation of the software at Qala Sığorta, the management of Qala Həyat Sığorta also decided to deploy the system in their own company.

Solution

The WSS Docs ESD system was implemented, with the project starting from a detailed business analysis. During the process, 16 core business processes were automated, which accelerated the preparation, approval, and execution of documents, while also strengthening management’s control capabilities. For life insurance–related processes (form handover, reinsurance, risk assessment, etc.), the system provided convenient and fast management. The daily work of employees became simpler, and document search and execution more efficient. Currently, an upgrade to a new version, integration with Insure.az, and the use of e-signatures are planned.
